Scott Robinson

In 2013, the year before Coach Robinson arrived at unranked Brighton, the Bengals finished with a 4-9 record. In Coach Robinson’s first year in 2014, Brighton ended the season 11-3 with an OT loss to Riverton in the semi-final playoff game. In 2015 Coach Robinson picked up where he left off, ending the season 13-2 with an OT loss in Brighton’s first D1 State Championship game to Park City. Last season he led Lone Peak to the state semifinal game once again, finishing the season 12-3. Coach Robinson was an assistant coach for the Utah U15 National Tournament team. In 2015 the U15 national team won more games than any of the previous U15 teams. The team also made it into the championship bracket for the first time before suffering a one-goal loss in the opening round. Every high school team Coach Robinson coached for the last seven years has played in the high school state playoff. Set a 76-14 record which is an impressive 84% win percentage. Last summer he was an assistant for the Southwest Under Armor team and is currently the head coach for Duluth High School.
